The Medical Marijuana Job Hunt

So there are three types of job hunts for the medical marijuana patient:

1. finding jobs that do not require a urine analysis

2. finding jobs that are sympathetic to medical marijuana use so you can disclose or avoid a UA all together

3. finding jobs that are directly related to marijuana

Unfortunately, there are very few jobs left out there that do not require a urine analysis. More over, finding out in advance without raising suspicions is nearly impossible.

I have been unable to find any directory of "sympathetic" companies. I wish NORML or another organization would do some sort of survey to find out which HR departments have a policy to at least consider individual situation when a UA results involve a medical marijuana patient, but I have not seen any such research. I am considering conducting my own, or perhaps hiring a third party to provide privacy to conduct some research in the Portland, Oregon area.

In the mean time, I thought I would share with you this list of marijuana job websites I have collected to try to find a career in medical marijuana.
